Gastric ulcer again

This morning I had an endoscopy(胃鏡檢查) to check my stomach and duodenum. My doctor told me that I have Gastric ulcer (胃潰瘍), and it needs 4 months treatment process. Gee, I should adjust my life style to avoid stress.

TODAY IS THE THIRD DAY SINCE MY DAUGHTER CAME TO THE WORLD. She still sleeps most of the time.

A new addition to my lovely family.

My adughter was born at 6:53 pm on 3/25, 2011. She didn't give her mom a long period of pain although my wife had epidural injection for reducing pain. It took about 5 hour labor. 嘉義東石與朴子牛挑灣之旅

前往東石吃海產，到處可見牡蠣殼，飯後前往朴子牛挑灣以前外公的老家附近去看看，也巧遇了久未見面的親戚。

拜會日本文部科學省

下午三點前往位於霞之關的文部科學省（教育部）的國家教育政策研究所去拜訪立田慶裕教授，立田教授主要從事健康學習、媒體教育、閱讀能力與成人教育需求的研究，並且參與OECD主導的世界主要國家成人教育比較研究。在兩個小時的會談當中，立田教授介紹了日本社會教育的發展過程，在他的報告中，可以暸解日本推動終身學習的過程中，公民館（社區學習中心）扮演重要的角色，公民館於戰後1946年開始成立，目前全日本共有17,143間公民館，在2008年達到二億人次使用公民館的設施。立田教授進一步說明日本目前每四年會對社會教育的情況做調查，他自己現在則正進行每十年進行一次教育需求調查研究。此外，他說明現在日本很重視國民的閱讀素養，在近期一項調查中發現日本每三個人中有兩個人每月會閱讀一本書，他強調閱讀素養的培養從小學就開始，有助於終身學習習慣的養成，但對於那些沒有閱讀習慣的人，也需瞭解他們不閱讀的原因，設法幫助他們。我們也分享了台灣成人教育參與的情況給立田教授，並且邀請立田教授有機會到台灣來訪問，分享日本的經驗。
